ABC Home Support is a private home care company leading the way in providing exceptional care to our clients as if they were part of our OWN family. We have an extensive multidisciplinary team of Registered Care Aides, Caregivers, Housekeepers, LPN’s as well as a Foot Care Nurse. We pride ourselves on empathy, grace, consistency, and continuity of care for the aging population.
We are currently looking to grow our care team and are looking for Registered Care Aides (RCA’s) to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to commute from your home to, and from, the clients place of residents. Most of our clients are located in communities of Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and Coquitlam
  • Proficient use of technology, apps, and posses a smart phone with data plan
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and written, in English

    Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Within your role you will be responsible for adhering to a custom care plan designed with the client’s best interest and medical needs as the highest priority.
  • You will work one on one with clients in their home, as well as in many Independent, Assisted, and Long-Term Care Facilities
  • As a Registered Care Aide some of your duties will include; medication administration, light meal preparation and support, light housekeeping, personal care, grooming, showering, dress, using patient transfer techniques, and lifts where necessary, companionship, respite care, and palliative end of life support.
  • Observing and monitoring clients’ progress, symptoms, behavioral changes and reporting/recording significant observations
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
