JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nutritionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting health and wellness through nutrition, providing personalized dietary advice, and supporting clients in achieving their health goals. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with electronic medical records, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This is for an independent contractor position with a flat fee rental agreement starting at $250 per month depending on space used.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems is essential.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
  • Strong computer operation skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
  • A passion for health promotion and a commitment to helping others achieve their wellness goals.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $30,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
    Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients’ nutritional needs and develop tailored meal plans based on individual health goals and dietary restrictions.
  • Provide education on nutrition-related topics, including healthy eating habits, food choices, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records for all client interactions and dietary plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans.
  • Offer support and motivation to clients in their journey towards better health.
  • Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
