Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Office Administration – Including but not limited to review of scope & services, fulfillment of survey work requests, calculation checks Training & Team Building – Including but not limited to establishment of project teams, management and evaluation of staff, on-the-job coaching and training Professional Development – Including but not limited to seeking active, technical and managerial training and involvement in professional organizations Field Assistance - Candidates should be willing and able to conduct site visits and have a working knowledge of field coding and line work; must be able to assist crews in the field when necessary Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates should be capable of drafting surveys, conducting research, performing boundary resolution, creating legal descriptions, plats, data processing and coordinating with field crew. Bachelor’s degree and RPLS required 5+ years of experience drafting surveys, conducting research, performing boundary resolution, writing legal descriptions, plats and data processing Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate projects and effective communication skills are a must. Knowledge of drafting and survey principles. Must be skilled in the use of AutoCAD design to generate a final client deliverable Must be up-to-date with governmental requirements for surveying documents Prior experience as a Survey Technician or Party Chief a plus
