We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the development and registration of our new Home Care and Supported Living services in Cardiff.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up — ensuring excellence in care, regulatory compliance, and operational success in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards.

_ Requirements_

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within adult social care (domiciliary care, supported living, or residential).
• Strong knowledge of CIW regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, recruitment, and people-management skills.
• Experience in setting up or expanding regulated services (highly desirable).
• QCF/NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care – Leadership & Management (or working towards)

Education:

• Certificate of Higher Education (preferred

Experience:

• Registered Manager: 4 years (required

• Lead the preparation and successful registration of the service with CIW.
• Recruit, interview, and manage staff, ensuring all pre-employment checks are

completed.

• Secure and set up suitable premises that are fully compliant and fit for

purpose.

• Develop and implement policies, systems, procedures, and compliance

frameworks.

• Prepare and represent the service before the CIW registration panel.
• Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred care for adults (18+)

through to older adults (69+).

• Provide strong leadership, operational oversight, and continuous service improvement.
