JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our brand new Children’s Residential Home in Stoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care for our children. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to children, and the ability to manage a team effectively while developing care plans tailored to individual needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare at Deputy level or above
• Level 5 diploma (or working towards)
• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
• Commitment to providing high quality care and achieving positive outcomes for children
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for children, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
• Maintain accurate records of care and staff performance, conducting regular audits to ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Engage with residents and their families to provide updates on care plans and address any concerns or feedback.
• Collaborate with the multi agency group to ensure comprehensive care
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the home, implementing best practices
