HOME MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME

Bembridge, Isle of Wight | Full-Time, Permanent | £48,000 per year
We’re looking for a compassionate and capable Home Manager to lead our care home in Bembridge. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to someone who thrives in a leadership role but also values meaningful, hands-on involvement in the daily life of a care setting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Home Manager or General Manager in a care home setting
  • Understands what good care looks and feels like
  • Can confidently manage both people and processes
  • Is approachable, organised, and forward-thinking
  • Has strong knowledge of care regulations and best practices
  • Either holds or is willing to work towards an NVQ/Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing both the operational and financial aspects of the service. You will work closely with staff, residents, and families to ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while meeting all regulatory requirements, including CQC Fundamental Standards.
This role isn’t just about compliance—it’s about creating a warm, inclusive environment where both residents and staff feel respected, supported, and listened to.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation
