REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL HOME

£50,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are looking for a Registered Manager to join our growing organisation and lead a vibrant children’s home in East Tilbury. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a strong and reflective leader with:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or a Deputy Manager ready to step up).
• At least 2 years’ managerial experience in a children’s residential setting within the last 5 years.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete it).
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to trauma-informed practice.
• The ability to inspire, challenge, and support a staff team to deliver the best possible outcomes for young people.

As Registered Manager, you will take full operational and strategic responsibility for the home. You’ll:

• Provide inspirational leadership and create a culture of teamwork, safety and high standards.
• Ensure the highest levels of care and compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Lead, recruit and develop a dedicated team of residential childcare professionals.
• Manage rotas, risk assessments, referrals and admissions.
• Drive continuous improvement through effective quality assurance systems.
• Represent the home in professional networks and multi-agency meetings.
