REQUIREMENTS
· Must have the right to live and work in the UK
· Must have experience working in Children’s residential
· Must hold a Uk driving license
· Must hold a least an NVQ Level 3
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Lead and manage the children and staff within the home, ensuring a positive living environment.
· Fulfil Registered Manager duties under the Care Standards Act 2000 and Children’s Home Regulations.
· Oversee and supervise key staff, including Deputy Managers, Senior Residential Care Workers, and Residential Care Workers.
· Ensure safeguarding practices are followed, with proper reporting of concerns.
· Implement company policies, review core plans, and monitor young people’s development to achieve positive outcomes.
· Recruit, train, and develop staff while managing budgets effectively.
· Maintain a safe, supportive, and high-quality environment for children and staff.
· Foster links with the community to enhance children’s participation and independence.
· Ensure all procedures for complaints and concerns are clearly understood and accessible.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Homes Manager to lead a 2-bedded children’s home in central Manchester, rated Good by Ofsted. The home is fully staffed and currently occupied.
This role is ideal for innovative individuals who have previously held an Ofsted Registration or for experienced Deputy Managers ready to step into a Registered Manager position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the home’s resources to create a positive and nurturing living environment for the resident children.
