Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step into a Registered Manager within a children’s home? or a Registered Manager looking for something new & exciting?

This fantastic and established Residential Children’s home is currently seeking a Residential Registered Manager to join them in their Northampton NN5 based home.
This is one of three homes for this company and their proven record of successfully creating homely & comforting environments have allowed the children and young people in their care to express their characters & establish their independence, as well as achieve the most fantastic outcomes!
This brilliant home currently supports 1x young person aged 13 with EBD needs. Their primary goal is to ensure that each child in their care receives the individualised therapeutic support and welcoming home environment that they need in order to thrive. The staff team is also very settled and work well together.
This position is perfect for a Residential Registered Manager who is looking to make a real & meaningful difference in the lives of children & young people.
As a Residential Registered Manager, you will be a crucial part leading the team, to help the young person to develop their life skills and reach their personal goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS
✔ A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Residential setting and a passion for children’s welfare and development
✔ The Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare & Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards this)
✔ A proven track record of at least 2 years effectively managing a team and motivating staff
✔ A working knowledge of relevant OFSTED legislation, regulations and policies and procedures
✔ A manual driving license

✅ Managing a team of Residential workers and coordinating staffing rotas
✅ Working together with the Local Authority to ensure effective matching and placement of young people
✅ To create a culture and ethos where the complex needs of the individual young people and the group are met
✅ Quality assure transition plans and to ensure that these are aspirational in terms of supporting the children to achieve.
✅ To ensure that the physical environment of the home always remains at a high standard
✅ Hold team meetings in order to share information, practice development and share any arising issues with the management team for resolution
✅ Contribute to service development
✅ This role includes an expectation of on call, rota cover and out of hours working
✅ Part of the role will be assist with the mobilisation of the home
