We are now launching our domiciliary care division, CARESERV, dedicated to delivering exceptional person-centred care in line with CQC standards. This is an opportunity to join at the very start of an exciting journey, helping to shape the culture, quality, and growth of our care service from the ground up.
Role Overview
As our Registered Manager, you will be the CQC-registered leader responsible for ensuring our domiciliary care service operates with excellence, safety, and compliance at its core. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality care to clients in their own homes, lead a motivated care team, and maintain full regulatory compliance while driving service growth and innovation.
This role is suited to an ambitious, highly organised, and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes complete ownership of service performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • CQC Registration & Compliance
  • Maintain active CQC registration and ensure the service meets or exceeds all Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
  • Keep policies, procedures, and operational standards fully compliant with Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
  • Prepare for and lead on CQC inspections, ensuring the service consistently delivers “Good” to “Outstanding” ratings.
  • Operational Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the care coordination team, supervisors, and frontline carers.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, care delivery, quality assurance, and incident management.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining quality care.
  • Client Care & Safeguarding
  • Ensure personalised care plans are developed, implemented, and reviewed in partnership with clients and their families.
  • Uphold safeguarding practices, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the service.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
  • Quality & Growth
  • Implement robust quality assurance frameworks, including audits, spot checks, and client feedback systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using data and feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Support business development by contributing to tenders, networking, and representing CARESERV in the community.

Essential Requirements

  • Current CQC registration as a Registered Manager for domiciliary care OR eligibility and willingness to register immediately.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing a domiciliary care service with “Good” or “Outstanding” CQC ratings.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety in care settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills & Attributes

  • Experience launching a new domiciliary care service or managing significant growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and meet KPIs.
