Description

1. ADVERT

We are seeking a full time dedicated Registered Manager for our supported accommodation (24-hour service) house in Croydon. The Manager will also have oversight and responsibility for our other standalone properties where we house young people who are more independent and require support hours from our key workers. You will be required to supervise and manage members of the Team, setting supervision dates, targets and to monitor work against delivery goals and work plans. As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the service. You will ensure high delivery of care, compliance with the regulatory standards and the implementation of policies and procedures.
To apply for this role, you will need to have worked with young people and enjoy helping them to find solutions, build relationships and to encourage them to aspire and meet their goals, aspirations and dreams. You will have experience of dealing with challenging and difficult situations and to problem solve. You will need to be resilient and sometimes work at a fast pace and be flexible.
We want our homes to be exceptional for the children we are entrusted to care for. It’s what we strive to provide and what our young people want and need.
We want our homes to be nurturing, fun and inspirational places where our young people feel safe to be themselves and can rely on us to guide, care, and support them to grow and thrive whatever their challenges.
Building effective relationships, co-ordinating activities, creating meaningful care plans, working together with partner organisations, writing reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date are some of the ways our key workers support our children.
Like all supportive, caring, and compassionate home environments; no two days are the same, they throw up complex and challenging situations and are on 24/7 - 365 days of the year. There will be reward for hard work, determination and resilience, knowing that you make a difference.

So, if you think you have what it takes, can match our energy to be exceptional, and are willing to learn, we (and our young people) really want to hear from you. To apply you will need to use our application form ensuring your supporting statement is detailed and explains how you can deliver an excellent service as part of the Management team.
