To drive this vision forward, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to oversee and enhance the day-to-day operations of our home care services. In this role, you will lead a dedicated and collaborative team, committed to continuous improvement and service excellence, with a clear focus on expanding our branch and impact.
EXPERIENCE
· Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations, Health and Social Care Act, and safeguarding procedures.
· Experience with CQC inspections and leading a care facility to a high standard
· Ability to manage budgets and financial processes effectively.
· Knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable people, those with dementia, and other vulnerable groups.
· Ability to manage and develop a team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
· Knowledge of health and safety, infection control, and manual handling procedures, is desirable
SKILLS
Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Ø Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ø Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ø Excellent IT skills and familiarity with care service software.
Ø Empathy, patience and a compassionate approach to client care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THIS ROLE:
Qualification(s)
· Registered Manager Status with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or willingness to obtain it.
· NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
· Proven experience in a managerial role within a care setting, ideally in a similar care environment.
