EXPERIENCE:
· You must hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the children’s residential sector within the last 5 years.
· You will hold a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Senior and/or Leadership role, within a children’s home with experience of supervising staff team members. i.e. Deputy Manager or Team Leader experience.
· You must have relevant experience working within a successful Ofsted registered children’s home.
· Experience of work with children, young people and their families.
· Have the ability to be flexible and adaptable, solution focused and supportive when working with children, families and managing a staff team.
· Be able to manage stress, difficult dynamics and demonstrate emotional resilience at all times.
· Able to monitor the service for quality of care and in line with the requirements of Ofsted inspections and other inspections/audits.
· Ability to develop constructive working relationships with the children, families, staff, the wider community and multiagency teams.
· Be available and flexible for on call duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· You must hold a Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.
· Ideally, you will hold a relevant Level 5 NVQ qualification or be willing to train.
· Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development- be keen to learn new skills.
