OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our domiciliary care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in domiciliary care. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in domiciliary care, with a strong understanding of senior care principles.
  • Experience in managing teams, demonstrating effective leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices, including Alzheimer’s care strategies.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in medication administration and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Must have built good relationships with social workers and commissioners of local authorities previously!
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of residents.
  • Supervise and support a team of care staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in accordance with best practices.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for residents with complex needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
