JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager for an exciting opportunity to oversee the opening and ongoing operations of our brand new solo provision children’s home. This is a rewarding chance to make a real impact and shape a high-quality, nurturing environment from the very beginning.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working with young people with emotional and behavioural challenges, including experience in supporting and mentoring a staff team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care for our young people, managing staff, and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a supportive environment for both young people and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience working in residential children home as a manager / strong deputy
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and inspection processes
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of care while fostering a positive work environment for staff.
