We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead our service, build strong structures from the ground up, and ensure compliance with CQC standards while supporting the development of a dynamic, compassionate team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and relevant regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Home Care Service, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for all residents.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of Service Users
  • Recruit, train, and develop a new care team, ensuring safe recruitment practices and a strong culture of care.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community organisations to establish Sylviancare reputation locally.
  • Implement robust systems for care planning, rostering, and quality monitoring.
  • Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training as necessary to enhance their skills in assisted living and nursing care.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as local authority guidelines.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the quality of care provided, ensuring services are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
  • Oversee care assessments, care planning, and risk management processes.
  • Monitor service performance through audits, feedback, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure financial viability of the service.
  • Lead by example to promote a culture of dignity, respect, and inclusion for service users and staff.
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
  • Provide clear leadership, supervision, and support to staff, fostering professional development and retention.
  • Prepare for and manage CQC inspections.
