At Timeout Homes we are passionate about therapeutic and restorative care for our children. Everyday we strive to improve the lives and outcomes of all the children in our care and education.
We are seeking someone who is looking to take the next step into management or maybe looking for a new challenge in managing a team in the residential care sector. You will join a management group of nine, and, whilst you will be required to lead and inspire your team of carers, we will ensure you have a team of supportive managers and senior managers around you so that you can achieve the goals you have set for yourself and the children in your care.
WHO WE ARE?
We are a family run organisation which provides therapeutic residential childcare for children aged 5 - 17 years who have suffered abuse and neglect in their lives. We were established in 2004 and have since grown organically and safely to 18 homes and 3 SEMH schools.
The children we care for require intensive therapeutic support within a nurturing and containing environment where their attachment difficulties, developmental delays and unmet needs can be understood, and outcomes achieved.
You will manage two dual homes and be responsible for a team of up to 12 people. You will be working as part of management team to ensure that the highest quality care is delivered to children within our care. We will want you to provide a stable and secure environment for vulnerable, challenging children and young people from a background of trauma and neglect to enable them to thrive.
To lead, motivate, supervise, coach, develop and support a team of staff to set, achieve and maintain a high standard of care. You need to identify individual training and development needs through observation of practice, undertake staff appraisals and ensure that training and development plans are monitored and met.
