This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation services to clients of all ages, including individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), sports injuries, and private clients. You will focus on improving mobility, managing pain, and enhancing overall well-being through therapeutic massage techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2200 hours of training or equivalent certification in massage therapy.
• Valid registration with the appropriate college/association.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred for effective communication regarding clients’ health conditions.
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive client experience.
• Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options and address client needs.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on client demand.
• Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining professional care standards.

• Provide various types of massages, including deep tissue and sports massage, customized to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments by reviewing clients’ medical histories and addressing any concerns or preferences before treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Communicate with clients during sessions, ensuring comfort and providing aftercare advice as needed.
• Keep the treatment area clean, organized, and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends and new techniques to enhance services and client satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly.
