Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about promoting health and wellness through therapeutic massage techniques. This is a commission position, successful candidates are employees not private contractors. A full time reception team and spa coordinators manage bookings, laundry and filing. Employer provides linens, lotion/gel etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and customized massages to clients
- Assess clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality, and function
- Develop and propose client treatment plans unique to their individual needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage as part of a healthy lifestyle
Experience:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Prior experience in customer service roles is a plus
