JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Infant and Child Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a deep understanding of infant and pediatric development, and expertise in massage techniques tailored to this population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide massage therapy for infants and children to promote relaxation, development, and well-being.
• Assess individual needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Educate parents/caregivers on techniques to continue therapeutic massage at home.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and pediatricians) to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with organizational standards.
• Stay informed on best practices and developments in pediatric massage therapy.

Qualifications:

• Registered Massage Therapist.
• Certification in Infant Massage Therapy or related field (e.g., Certified Infant Massage Instructor - CIMI) considered an asset.
• Experience working with infants, children, and families in a therapeutic or clinical setting.
• Experience and passion for working with children with unique needs.
• Strong understanding of child development and pediatric anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a welcoming and safe environment for clients and their families.
