JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for every client.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in practice.

• Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their preferences and any areas of concern during sessions.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
