JOB OVERVIEW

As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at Neurologik Rehab, you will provide specialized massage therapy to support neurological rehabilitation. Working within our multidisciplinary team, you’ll develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to address neurological conditions and enhance patient recovery. Your role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, optimizing patient outcomes through therapeutic massage, and contributing to a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• License: Valid registration with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC).
• Education: Completion of a recognized massage therapy program accredited by CMTBC.
• Experience: Experience in massage therapy, with preference given to those with a focus on neurological conditions.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Approach: Patient-centered with a commitment to providing holistic care.
• Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with advancements in massage therapy and neurological care.

  Pay: $65.00-$135.40 per hour

• Assess and treat patients by reviewing medical histories and physical conditions.
• Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans tailored to neurological rehabilitation goals.
• Administer therapeutic techniques, including deep tissue and myofascial release.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, acupuncturists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients on self-care, exercises, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in massage therapy and neurological care.
