MASSAGE THERAPIST WANTED

As a Registered Massage Therapist at Pure Wellness, you will play a key role in providing top-quality therapeutic massage services to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for delivering a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, flexibility, and other structural bodywork, in a positive environment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of successful massage therapists and personal trainers, promoting a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of College or Technical training in Massage Therapy.
• Certified by the province of Alberta / Natural Health Practitioners of Canada / MTAA and licensed by the City of Edmonton.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, and flexibility.
• Passion for learning and professional development, demonstrated by a commitment to attending educational conferences and staying informed about industry advancements.
• Friendly, positive, and energetic attitude, with a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
• Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

• Perform therapeutic massage sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs, focusing on pain relief, performance enhancement, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Continually update and expand your knowledge and skills in massage therapy through attending educational conferences and staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry trends.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive wellness solutions for clients, including referrals to personal trainers or other specialists when necessary.
• Adhere to all regulations and guidelines set by the province of Alberta, Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, MTAA, and the City of Edmonton, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant health information.
• Promote our services and contribute to the growth of the business by providing exceptional customer service and actively participating in marketing and promotional activities.
