We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a relaxing environment that promotes healing and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting is a plus but not mandatory.

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including deep tissue and therapeutic massages.
• Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their medical history to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Ensure a clean and welcoming treatment space, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing any client concerns or questions with professionalism and empathy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
