We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our dynamic Birth Unit team at Nepean Hospital.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal continuum within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in supporting women through labour and birth, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and baby in a busy, tertiary-level maternity service.

Responsibilities
  • Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
  • Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience in Midwifery
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centred care
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
