In this role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based education to families preparing for childbirth, ensuring programs are engaging, accessible, and tailored to meet the needs of our community. The successful candidate will bring advanced midwifery knowledge and a passion for education, delivering innovative and interactive classes and information sessions for the public. You will oversee all aspects of program coordination, including scheduling, resource management, and consumer engagement, with a strong focus on using feedback to continuously enhance the quality and impact of our services. As a Level 2 Midwife, you will also provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical education support to less experienced midwifery staff. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of Performance Development Plans for Level 1 Registered Nurses/Midwives, and actively supporting staff to achieve their professional goals. You will be committed to your own professional growth, taking accountability for maintaining clinical currency and advancing your practice in line with contemporary midwifery standards.
