Centenary Hospital for Women and Children (CHWC), a leading Level 6 tertiary centre, is inviting passionate and experienced Registered Midwives Level 2 to bring their expertise and clinical leadership to our antenatal and gynaecology services. At CHWC, you will be part of a highly respected service supporting approximately 3,800 women each year across the ACT and surrounding regions. Our hospital offers comprehensive antenatal, birthing, and postnatal care through a range of progressive models designed to place women and families at the centre of everything we do. Working within our dynamic maternity department, you will join a forward-thinking team that embraces innovation and modern approaches to contemporary midwifery challenges. Our service proudly delivers care through midwifery-led continuity models, midwifery-led care, and collaborative maternity team care, ensuring flexibility and excellence in outcomes for every woman and family we support. As the tertiary referral centre for the ACT and Southern NSW, CHWC offers exposure to a wide scope of practice supported by advanced neonatal services, including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Special Care Nursery (SCN), and the ACT Neonatal Emergency Transport Service (NETS). Reporting to the Clinical Midwifery Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role, guiding and supporting colleagues to achieve excellence in clinical practice, quality, and safety.
