Responsibilities

The Registered Midwife using best practice evidence provides women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team working as part of SNSWLHD maternity services within the Midwife Antenatal and Postnatal Service (MAPS) providing continuity of midwifery care throughout the antenatal and postnatal period including midwifery in the home for woman. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people focused quality care.
