ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about maternity care ready to make a real impact while developing your skills in a supportive, compassionate, purpose-driven team that’s dedicated to supporting women in the postnatal period? This is the right career move for you!
Campbelltown Hospital is part of South Western Sydney Local Health District which is one of the fastest growing and most diverse regions in the state.
Our modern 24 bed maternity ward provides maternity care for women and babies in the postpartum period. We are seeking a registered midwife to join our Midwifery Support Program. Our midwifery support program focuses on providing midwifery support and care to women, their babies and families within the home following their discharge from the hospital. You will be well supported, working alongside an enthusiastic team of Registered midwives, nursing, medical and allied health staff to provide compassionate high quality care to women and their babies through their transition in the postnatal journey.
You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate care, ensuring clinical excellence through compassionate practice. Your role will also involve advocating for culturally safe care and escalating concerns appropriately to support optimal outcomes for women and their babies.
