The NT Remote Locum Program (NTRLP) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory. We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife / RN to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff. What You’ll Need: Evidence of unrestricted registration as registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA. Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in midwifery. Minimum of of 2 years Postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months. Current CPR/BLS certification. Current recognised Immunisation certificate. Current Northern Territory Working with Children’s Card (or willing to obtain).
