We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Midwives to join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Casual Pool.
Our maternity services are recognised for professionalism, collaboration, and support, ensuring that families receive exceptional care and staff are empowered to thrive. We are committed to equity, continuous improvement, and creating a positive workplace culture.
The Registered Midwife provides woman-centred, evidence-based care in line with the ANMC National Competency Standards for the Midwife (2006). You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and, where required, consult and liaise with obstetric, medical, and other health professionals as outlined in the ACM National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral (PD2010_022)
Please note: NSLHD Casual Pool staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per month to maintain their position in the pool..
