Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As our Registered Night Nurse, you will be a reassuring presence throughout the night, leading our care team and ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. This is a role where your kindness, clinical expertise, and leadership will shine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support the care team overnight, creating a calm and nurturing environment.
  • Put residents’ wishes, dignity, and individuality at the heart of everything you do.
  • Develop, review, and adapt person-centred care plans.
  • Administer medication safely and in line with NMC guidelines.
  • Work closely with residents and their families, listening and involving them in care decisions.
  • Provide hands-on care and reassurance, making sure residents feel valued and supported.
  • Mentor and guide care staff, encouraging growth and confidence.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
