Nursing skills gained on this unit:  * Obtain Med Surg/Progressive Care certifications * Develop strong bedside and procedural skills  * Understand and develop further expertise for a variety of treatments due to nature of acuity adaptable * Time management & flexibility while managing patients ranging in acuity levels * Unit Culture Highlights:  * 3 Daisy award winners on this unit!  * Very close-knit team dedicated to patient care and career growth * Great unit for new RNs to start a career * 5E team members are considered to be family strive to help support one another wherever possible * Qualifications: * Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. * Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. * Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. * Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
