Right now we are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our 9 West Medicine Unit.
Employment Status: Permanent Part time
Reporting Relationship: Manager, 9 East & West, Medicine & Nephrology
Hourly Rate: $39.07 - $56.00
Union Group: ONA
Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 12 hours, days/nights/weekends
Location: Humber River Health, Wilson site

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • BCLS certification upon hire to show proof of valid current certification (Registered Nurses currently employed by HRH are exempted).
  • 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience preferred.
  • Demonstration of critical thinking and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated good patient assessment skills. Patient assessment course preferred.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
