THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Mental Health Intake Clinician to support the Admissions operations at our Ramsay Northside and Cremorne Clinics. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional, preferably with Intake experience. Reporting to the Admissions Manager, you will work closely with Psychiatrists, GP’S and other external referrers, ensuring compliance and effective risk management processes. This role is a fundamental part of our patient’s journey, as it oversees the first point of contact. It is essential that all enquires are met with a professional, compassionate and timely response.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Allied Health
  • Minimum two (2) years’ post-graduate experience
  • Experience in mental health intake services preferred
  • Post-graduate qualifications in mental health highly regarded
  • Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong customer service approach.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
