Description

We are a small family owned facility located in the inner west of Sydney. We need a dedicated and experienced Register Nurse to join our team.
As a Registered Nurse, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical care of our residents during your shift. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills who is able to engage with consumers, manage care staff, liaise with family members, doctors and the management team alike. Excellent documenting skills using an electronic system are required. Competent in preventing and reporting incidents, reviewing care plan, progress notes and incident reporting, while maintaining all policies and procedures that are in place. You will need to have good availability including all shifts, weekdays and weekends.

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (essential)
  • Current police check (essential)
  • Received COVID-19 vaccination, or willing to receive (essential)
  • Previous experience in Aged Care (essential)
  • Passion and commitment to working with the elderly (essential)
  • Strong communication skills (essential)
  • Good understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards (essential)
  • Team-orientated with experience leading a team of care workers (essential)
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse (3 years desirable)
  • Knowledge of Quality & Education (desirable)
