ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Rankin Court Treatment Centre (RCTC) is a specialised unit providing treatment and care for people experiencing opioid dependence.
  • Assist clients to improve their health and wellbeing by relieving craving, preventing withdrawal symptoms and reducing risks.
  • Providing Opioid Treatment therapy, a pharmacotherapy intervention used to manage opioid dependence and reduce harms, as well as care coordination, and health information, based on a harm minimisation approach.
  • Working within a harm minimisation framework, you will take a clinical role within a multidisciplinary team in managing clients’ opioid dependency, and other psychosocial factors related to their health and welfare.
  • Rankin Court is part of our Alcohol and Drug Service providing outpatient opioid treatment, 7 days per week.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
