Description

Always Care Services is a Registered NDIS provider offering support services for people with disability. We are looking for 2 Full time Registered Nurses

Tasks and Duties are, but not limited to:

  • Hold an understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Comply with Scope of Practice, Policies and Procedures, Quality Work Practice, all relevant Legislative, Regulatory, and Legal Requirements including the Human Rights Act 1986 and uphold the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
  • Assess, monitor, plan, implement and review health & wellbeing of the person including all clinical care and interventions.
  • Promote, assist, and aim to achieve the following (but not limited to) independence, skill building, choice and decision making with the person.
  • Work with and report to Management.
  • Provide a range of services and support in accordance with the person’s individual need and goals.
  • Provide a range of services and support in accordance with our rostering needs. This includes working morning, afternoon, sleepovers, and weekend shifts.
  • Be flexible to assist in and proactively participate to fill rostering gap needs as requested.
  • Be flexible, willing to learn and take on new tasks, resilient and problem solve.
  • Work in a team and independently and be able to use your discretion.
  • Committed to recognising the person before the disability or diagnoses.
  • Committed to social and societal awareness of disability.
  • Committed to work with the person/s to achieve goals.
  • Be proactive in the role to achieve personal & NDIS goals.
  • Plan, implement and review individual programs.
  • Provide both physical assistance and emotional support.
  • Assist people to perform daily activities and tasks.
  • Assess, monitor, plan, implement and review Medication Administration with the person.
  • Assisting with, documenting, and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and reports relevant to the person.
