We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Short Stay Unit (SSU). The Position As an Anaesthetic Nurse within our SSU, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality perioperative care across a diverse range of surgical specialties. Our unit is a fast-paced environment that prides itself on clinical excellence, patient safety, and a supportive team culture. You will support a wide variety of lists including: Pain Management Gynaecology Plastics Dental Urology To be successful in this role, you will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. You must demonstrate proficiency in anaesthetic nursing with the ability to anticipate the needs of the Anaesthetist and patient. Competency in IV cannulation is essential. You will have the ability to wear lead gowns for extended periods during specialized lists (e.g., Pain Management) and feel comfortable working across multiple specialties and managing a high turnover of patients.
