THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our General Medical/Palliative Care Ward. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years postgraduate nursing experience in a hospital role
• Enrolled Nurses will be medication endorsed and IV Qualified
• Experience within medical and palliative care specialties
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Ability to work a rotating roster

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
