We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. This role is essential for providing high-quality nursing services to patients in an ambulatory surgery center and other healthcare environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Registered Practical Nurse license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or acute care environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of specimen collection processing and vital signs monitoring.
• Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols and medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Compassionate approach to patient care, particularly with geriatric populations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring timely assessment of patient conditions.
• Assist with specimen collection processing and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support patients in medical-surgical settings, including post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
• Engage with geriatric patients, addressing their unique health needs and concerns.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills, including pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) practices.
