We Are Hiring Location: Bartlesville, OK Facility: Ascension Medical Group Cardiology Clinic Specialty: Cardiology Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm What You Will Do Patient Triage & Evaluation: Conduct initial evaluations, review medical histories, interpret 12-lead EKGs, and manage walk-ins/tele-health calls to assess urgent symptoms and address medication needs. Diagnostic & Device Management: Perform or assist with diagnostic procedures—such as stress tests and echocardiograms—while programming pacemakers/ICDs and managing intravenous and oral heart medications.] Patient Education & Counseling: Counsel patients on cardiovascular diseases, required lifestyle or dietary changes, and pre- or post-procedure care to ensure long-term risk reduction. Continuity & Resource Optimization: Facilitate seamless transitions between outpatient and inpatient settings while optimizing department resources so cardiologists can focus on acute cases. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required. Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
