ABOUT US
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person’s needs.
Join a dedicated team committed to making a real difference in the lives of individuals living with severe and enduring mental illness, and their carers. This role is focused on delivering optimal outcomes by advocating for best practices, promoting appropriate escalation of care, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team.
You’ll be involved in the planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of patient care, all while championing the specific needs of diverse populations including Indigenous and multicultural communities during specialised procedures. Your professional standards will reflect ethical nursing practice and strong adherence to organisational policies, regulatory frameworks, and legislation.
If you’re passionate about person-centred care and thrive in an environment that values collaboration, advocacy, and clinical excellence, we encourage you to bring your expertise to a team that’s deeply committed to making a difference. Your dedication will be met with support, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to positively impact lives every single day.
