The Hand Institute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support our providers and patients in delivering exceptional healthcare.
This position is ideal for a nurse who is highly organized, efficient, and committed to compassionate care for women across all stages of life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient or primary care.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Intake & Prep: Work up approximately 24 scheduled patients per day, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and chart prep in the EMR.
  • Provider Support: Manage and respond to tasks in the provider staff bucket and assist in coordinating patient care efficiently.
  • Orders & Documentation: Enter lab and imaging orders accurately into the EMR and ensure all documentation is timely and complete.
  • Medication Management: Process prescription refill requests and administer injections as ordered.
  • Clinical Testing & Procedures:
  • Perform blood draws and process lab specimens for transport.
  • Place patients on NST (non-stress test) machines and monitor accordingly.
  • Set up procedure rooms and assist as needed during in-office procedures.
  • Team Support: Assist with other clinical duties as needed to ensure optimal patient care and office flow.
