Ensure the assessment of service users' care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, are undertaken and fully documented.

2. As required, take charge of the home in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility.

3. As required, undertake on-call duties.

4. Ensure an appropriate exchange of information between all grades of staff to promote continuity of service user care.

5. Maintain full and complete nursing records.
