The Role We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Gisborne Oaks home on Neal Street in Gisborne for Grade 2 casual shifts.  * Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications * Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents * Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required * Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy * Provide guidance and support to the care team, including Personal Care workers and Enrolled Nurses About you * Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and registration with AHPRA as a Division 1  * Experience working in aged care * Available for at least 2 shifts per week * NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain * Good judgement and decision-making skills; able to respond quickly to issues and effectively resolve * An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration * A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour Why Benetas? * Grade 2 $55-$64 per hour depending on experience (inclusive of casual loading) * Not for profit salary packaging up to $2,500 per annum - reduce tax and increase your take home pay * Career Progression – Internal promotions, cross-departmental mobility, leadership development opportunities, internal training programs + our own Scholarship program * Recognitions and Awards – celebrate your achievements with peer and Benetas recognition programs Join us on our fulfilling journey, as we transform the experience of ageing through collaboration, new ideas and genuine care.
