We are actively seeking dedicated Registered Nurses with all levels of experience to join our rapidly growing team to provide high-quality end-of-life care to clients and their families.

BlueCare’s specialised palliative care services is growing throughout Queensland. Joining our team, you will be at the forefront of BlueCare’s transformative journey to expand palliative care services across the state. This unique opportunity offers:

Primarily based in Rockhampton, you will have the opportunity to engage with various communities across Queensland, further enhancing your professional experience. You will be well supported by the palliative care and the wider BlueCare community service teams, so support is always there! Importantly, you will contribute significantly to our core belief that every Queenslander deserves the highest standard of palliative care within the comfort of their own home.

What makes a difference for us

  • Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Exhibit mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing, showcasing clinical expertise and a person-centered care approach.
  • Prior experience or ongoing pursuit of qualifications in palliative care, pain management, or acute care is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address care requirements.
  • Possess a current driver’s license and the confidence to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland.
