REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Available for a rotating roster
  • An open, flexible and growth mindset towards caring for our residents with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff.
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly
  • Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
Responsibilities
  • Day to day delivery and management of high-quality care needs of residents whilst ensuring that all residents are respected and treated with empathy and dignity
  • Manage and direct Personal Care Workers
  • Support the Residential Manager/Care Manager to fulfil the objectives they have for the effective and efficient management of the facility
  • Recording accurate medical records on each resident in line with the documentation guidelines and the legal issues of report writing
  • Comply with WHS legislation and Policy and Procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement process and systems.
