Job Description: * Responsible for the delivery of patient centred nursing care to patients pre and post Cath Lab/EP and Cardiac Device procedures. * Provision of patient/family education regarding pre and post procedure care.  * Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development. * Participates in continuous quality improvement and evaluation.   Qualifications: THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants. * Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO * BCLS &ACLS * Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred * Current Coronary Care Level 1 & 2 Certificate Required * Recent experience with Cardiac Care Nursing preferred * Advanced physical assessment skills * Demonstrated ability to think critically and effectively in order to prioritize needs in emergency situations * Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written * Strong leadership & assessment skills * History of ongoing professional development and be a self-directed learner; demonstrated by evidence of continuous learning, required * Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and commitment to customer service and teamwork * Experienced in patient education and sharing knowledge of expected outcomes and care * Positive attendance and work record essential   To pursue this career opportunity, please visit our website: www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca [http://www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca/] Candidates are selected on the basis of their skill, ability, experience and qualifications.
