Heartline Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular Surgical Services for the following opportunity. The Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgical Services provides individualized, patient-centered nursing care while demonstrating respect, dignity, compassion, and professionalism in every patient interaction. This role assumes primary accountability for coordinating and delivering nursing care through a collaborative, team-based approach across all stages of the care continuum. Responsibilities include completing age-specific assessments, developing and revising interdisciplinary plans of care, administering treatments and medications, and documenting care accurately using electronic medical record systems. The RN utilizes critical thinking and delegation skills to support optimal patient outcomes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service excellence. Schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts available. Primary schedule is night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, three nights per week. Compensation: Hourly compensation ranges from $30.47 to $45.71 based on experience. Requirements Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure Licensure and Certification: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure - CPR certification required - Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required by the department Other Qualifications: - Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation - Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements - Ability to meet essential job functions Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
